The Dance

As a documentary photographer I often photograph people and events that are close to me.

While visiting my niece, Nicole, in Brisbane, I accompanied her to dance class. The images were made over the course of a single class. They document Nicole on a particular day. Her energy. Her mood.

The photographs capture just a tiny part of the events that are becoming the story of her life.
